We pretty much all know that retail is facing hard times in many town centres.  Towns are having to adapt to the change and Wrexham can be really proud of many of the initiatives that are taking place and the new start up businesses that are investing in the town centre.

With ever growing competition from the internet and out of towns, for towns to thrive they must reinvent themselves.  This includes business, people and the public sector coming together to help create events and family experiences, to drive footfall and encourage people to spend longer in the town.  This will be complemented by more town centre living, and a thriving arts and culture scene.  Perhaps this may even encourage some more national brands to invest in the town.

Saturday 30th June 2018 is one such day when the town will be filled with things for people to do. To listen, to browse, to smell, to eat, to meet family and friends , to help build our community.  In addition a chance for locals and visitors to visit our many national chains, cafes, eateries , our markets and our independent traders.

Saturday 30th June 2018 is Street Festival day and for more information and performance times –click here.
