Wednesday August 1st marks the return of the very popular Wrexham Free Play day.
Offering good old fashioned fun including a huge sandpit, over 3000 people attended last years event . This is a free to attend event which takes place on Queens Square and Llwyn Isaf ( library field )between 12 am and 4pm

Also on the same day Techniquest pop up is open on Henblas Street Chester Street, linking into Ty Pawb, with lots more free activities.

To coincide with Wrexham Play Day we are opening our town centre base once again for a special additional opportunity for some free family science fun!
We’re opening up the walkway again between Chester Street and Henblas Square through the former TJ Hughes building and have lots of activities organised for your whole family to have some fun.
We have our ever popular StarDome with continuous tours of the stars and planets running throughout the day, Diddy Car Racing and our cardboard construction zone where young builders can get to work with their imagination. Science Busking and street performers will liven up the space alongside various small businesses who have taken up stalls.
