Origins Restoration, Upcycling & Recycling is a brand new project which aims to make use of unwanted household items, textiles & materials and Furniture either from donation/salvage or through Auctions and selling them on, with all after costs profits going to Local community groups & charities in need of funding. We will be working out of a small workshop in Brymbo and will be working towards being a focal point for recycling and salvaging items that otherwise would end up in Landfill. So before you empty that Shed/Garage or Loft and take everything to the skip please consider dropping off to us, we will make use of whatever we can, collection of items available. In the future we also would like to offer work experience and learning opportunities for small groups or individuals. If you would like to donate anything to the project then please take a look at the list below, Timber/Ply, Paint, wallpaper etc we are particularly in need of.
ITEMS WE WOULD BE LOOKING TO MAKE USE OF • Timber and plywood etc • Furniture requiring repair or restoration (Only things that Charity shops would not be interested in as do not to impact their revenue) • Small electrical items, Lamps, Fans etc • Old ironmongery, hinges, handles etc • Pallets & Cable drums • Textiles, Cloth, curtains etc • Wallpaper & Ceramic Tiles • Donations of tools etc for use within the business • Basically, anything that could be used to create something else decorative or of use.
