WHAT IS YELLOW AND BLUE ?

( HOW TO DONATE   – SEE BELOW )

Challenging times need innovative solutions.  Yellow and Blue is a Social Enterprise ( Non for profit company ) that will allow  Wrexham people and organisations to come together to help many vulnerable people with various needs in Wrexham.

YAB was established  in April 2020 after nearly 3 years in planning and the key goal is to provide a vibrant hub for the Wrexham communities vulnerable, terminally ill, and lift others to be inspired to join the project. YAB aim to do this by providing supportive and inspiring activities to help them forget their diagnosis or problems for a while, support people with a hand up and not a hand out initiative where they can be inspired and lift each others in a collective environment. YAB will help do this by engaging with positive pathways within their life and embracing other services and community projects.

In December 2020 YAB secured a location for it’s community hub on Henblas Street. The dream to really help others in an innovative way is becoming a reality.

One of the goals is to create a vibrant hub and eating place, where people feel supported and to create chances of happiness, memories, positivity, support and engagement. With possible collaborations on supported living and positive pathways within the group projects.

Our social enterprise aims are:

  • To grow the hub by helping people come to terms with their problems and illnesses, bringing the options available in a fun, engaging and first step scenario.
  • Mental health support will also be offered for not only the patients but family and children too, the aim is to be a place where anyone can drop in, gain information, feel supported and inspire each other whilst gaining an underpinning support from what YAB can do.
  • To create a place whose use is only limited by the communities imagination to dream up ideas to help others.
  • To support the delivery of the well-being goals, as defined by the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, and the Social Services Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014.
  • To help eradicate homelessness in Wrexham by providing training and work opportunities, a hand up not a hand out.
  • Creation of new jobs and voluntary work opportunities

Our values are:
